Good scientific practice

The association German National Research Data Infrastructure (Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI) e.V.), based in Karlsruhe, signed a cooperation agreement on 16 June 2026 with GWDG Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Datenverarbeitung mbH, Göttingen, to implement the DFG Code of Conduct: ‘Regulations for ensuring good scientific practice’.

The GWDG’s ombudspersons are also available to the NFDI association as points of contact for matters relating to good scientific practice.
As well as reaching out to local ombudspersons, it is also possible to contact theOmbudsgremium „Ombudsgremium für die wissenschaftliche Integrität in Deutschland“ which operates on a national level.
