Sections

Sections are legally dependent divisions of the association in which cross-cutting topics are addressed that affect several consortia. In particular, the sections support the consortium assembly in the preparation of its decision proposals on cross-consortium standards, metadata standards and formats. Sections are established, defined, delimited and abolished by decision of the Scientific Senate of the NFDI Association on the proposal of the NFDI consortium assembly and the NFDI Director. Four sections were established by the Scientific Senate as of October 1, 2021.

Detailed information on the sections can be found in the section concepts, which are published on our zenodo community page, and on the NFDI website at https://www.nfdi.de/sektionen/:

For participation in the sections, registration is required under https://www.nfdi.de/sektionen-anmeldung/. If you have further questions about the sections, you can contact sections[at]nfdi.de.
