The NFDI section Industry Engagement held its speaker election on Friday, 16 May, after a two-year period.
- Speaker: Prof. Dr. Florian Stahl (Uni Mannheim, BERD@NFDI)
- Deputy speaker: Dr. Andreas Förster (DECHEMA Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie e.V., NFDI4Cat)
This is Florian Stahl’s second term in office, while Andreas Förster has taken over as deputy speaker from Prof Dr Christoph Eberl (Fraunhofer IWM and University of Freiburg). We would like to take this opportunity to thank Christoph Eberl for his commitment to the section!
The section Industry Engagement is focused on the overarching organisation of cooperation between industry and the NFDI consortia, basic services and other sections. To this end, the section involves an industrial advisory board. The aim is to jointly develop and promote new forms of cooperation and data exchange between the two domains of science and industry.
