Kickoff in Karlsruhe: The partners of the DFG-funded project “Building up EOSC Node Germany” met for a joint kickoff event in Karlsruhe, with some attending in person and others joining online.
The goal of the project is to further establish and expand the EOSC Node Germany. NFDI is actively involved in building the EOSC Federation and, as a mandated member of the EOSC Association, also makes a significant contribution to establishing a resilient European research data infrastructure.
The “Building up EOSC Node Germany” project aims to establish and expand the German EOSC node, thereby creating an interface between the research data holdings in the NFDI repositories and those of the European research infrastructure network. This will advance the integration of national and European research infrastructures and enable mutual access to research data and services throughout Europe. The EOSC Node Germany contributes to a robust and adaptable system that creates a European research data infrastructure that is coordinated locally yet universally accessible.
