(Published on 05.05.2023) The section Industry Engagement elected  Prof. Dr. Florian Stahl  as speaker and Prof. Dr. Chris Eberl as deputy speaker in its first official meeting on 5 May.

In science as well as in industry, data is continuously being collected and work is being done with methods and standards. Several NFDI consortia already independently maintain specific and partner-dependent industry collaborations and data integration models. With the section Industry Engagement (section-ie), the cooperation with industry will be further systematically expanded in order to promote added benefits for society.

One of the goals is to create a joint exchange platform between industry and science for the identification and concretisation of overarching problem areas and approaches to solutions. The section concept can be found here: https://zenodo.org/record/7900079#.ZFT4nM7P02w
